Very cute dress!
Thanks for the nice comment on my blog. It's been pretty craptastic around here lately, I don't know what is going on!

Oh my gosh, loved those fruffly ruffly dresses! My sister had a similar one, baby pink with rose buds I think, that had the wide ruffle at the top and might have gone off the shoulder. Sooo purty! And it's so easy to pick you out of the group - love that big smile!

What a a great photo. I had ZERO self esteem at this age... and I envy you completely.
Love your dress Suz and I recognize Lori's dress from 17 magazine...isn't that a Jessica McClintock???

I loved Jr High too. Roller skating was the best. You girls look like you were having a great time.

I had large bangs like that in high school, but it was just to hide my pimply forehead. Which was caused by bangs damply hanging on my forehead. Which meant I had to have bangs to hide the . . . oh well. I survived.

LOL Lip smackers and roller skating. Those were the days. I'm pretty sure I tried all of those fancy hair do's too!

I absolutely LOVE this picture of you guys! That dress your friend Lori is wearing looks EXACTLY the same as one I used to have, too. And it used to be my absolutely favorite! :D

I miss LipSmackers in the really big tubes they used to come in. Now they are just glorified, overpriced Chapstick. You look so cute in this picture. So put together. Like a Seventeen Magazine model.

To me it was good that it was over. It´s different for girls and you are so lucky.

Journey is one of my all-time favorites! And EVERY year from the 80's were awesome! I miss the 80's...

I loved jr. high, too! I graduated in 1981, and I swear to you, I had an almost identical dress! The only difference that I remember is that the bodice was fitted. It was my first "spaghetti strap" dress (my, how things have changed for today's girls), and I remember feeling very grown-up and pretty.

I'm not kidding, Jana had the same hair do as you and I had the short cut on the left that year. I wore a pink puffy sleaved dress much like the gal on the right of the pic. It's like we could have been at the same school. What a funny memory.

I think we were Junior High twins! The hair, the braces, the dress. I'll have to dig my old pic out of storage and scan it!
