Pictures in Wonderland: Orange
To kick off my return to my blog I thought I would start with a picture of a subject that is apparently near and dear to me: Bikes against brick walls. (In Newport, on Balboa, 17th Street). Maybe I'm drawn to them because neither are stereotypical Orange County fare.
This one I shot next to The Starbucks in the Orange Circle. They take their orange VERY seriously in Orange. As you can see by all the orange.

Today I'm listening to The Pogues "Sunny Side of the Street." I wish you all a "Sunny Side of the Street" kinda New Year!

Love the photo, but The Pogues! I am now going to break out my LP copy, dust off the needle and actually play the entire album! You have fabulous taste!

That orange on the wall has always baffled me. It is poorly painted and the black ground seems so bizarre. Looks a bit like a 'paint-by-number' or something....
As usual perfect capture.

A black hole in the wall with an orange...something a surrealist painter might have done.
I thought Pogues were always liked in US because they had such a healthy dental image:)

I love it when photographers take photos of seemingly, nothing remarkable at all, and it turns into a work of art. Beautiful!

Very nice shot. Love the Pogues. Saw then at the Irvine Amphitheater 20 years ago. They were outstanding in live.
