I've decided not to post a daily photo, but instead post pictures of Orange County when I have one I especially like. I'm still determined to prove Orange County is beautiful and compelling with a lot of fun places to explore.
This picture continues my unintentional series of photos of bikes in front of brick buildings.

Music in Wonderland: Joe Jackson's "Breakin' up in two."
You can go to my BLIP.fm Channel to listen to all my songs.

Will you tell us where it is too? That would be great. Ya know, just so we can go there too and try to take a really great photo like yours only to get home, check the images and see that it doesn't even come close.
Empty bikes are compelling. I wonder where they have been. Where they are going and who owns them. They seem to come with their own story.

Having some OC envy here in snowy Connecticut;)

Why, Suzanne, would you have to prove that Orange County is beautiful? It seems obvious, at leat for what I've seen until now.
I saw that your a great perfectionnist, framing the No Parking sign: )
What impress me is the "5" number size, guests can't be mistaken!

I love photos like this. Your could almost write a story about it. What's inside that door?

Okay, so love the photo and then Joe Jackson!!! You are Fabulous, no question about it!

I always find myself taking pictures of bikes too! There is something so vintage-y about them. And they're always left so casually. It makes me want to know who rides them and what they're off doing.

The rounded corners add a lot of charcter. The worn out appearance does the rest. Muy bien.

Your picture are great! We love Orange County...even though we usually are there just for Disneyland. We still get out and about and find lots of things to enjoy.

I'm getting the '70s vibe from this photo. That big 5 is the killer element. Awesome.

So, are you telling me that "The Real Housewives of Orange County" is not an accurate depiction of Orange County?? Bwahahahaha!
I always enjoy your photos, and look forward to whatever you have in store for us:)

Great photo ... the colors are engaging.

an unintentional series : that are often the best, and fun as they grow. Very good photo ! The picnik tip is something I will keep in mind, fast effects (such as the Holga one) sound great, frames too. I work with photoshop and that means more steps to make something.

I thought I did a post here. Hello?
Anyway, I think this is a pretty wonderfully composed photo, Suz. Really nice job.

This is an extraordinary shot. The "5" makes it. And also the colors.
